Deep’s corner – Bangladesh toil hard on day 1

Taskin Ahmed cut short KL Rahul’s stay at the crease in the first over of the day to uplift the spirit of Bangladesh and when Kamrul Islam was utilizing new ball very well on a fresh deck, it seemed, the visitors meant business. But as the day progressed, the bowling unit of visiting team started to lose their energy and intent as Murali Vijay, Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli punished the Bangladeshi bowlers to put India in a commendable position at stumps. Bangladesh were left to rue about the missed opportunities, mediocre captaincy and poor bowling display.

Deep Dasgupta gives his opinion about the actions from day 1 in Hyderabad at Cricketsoccer.
