Deep’s corner – Another frustrating day for Bangladesh

🕓 Reading time: 1 minute

Virat Kohli smashed a double hundred and Wriddiman Saha ended the debate of Saha v Patel by scoring a hundred. Batting looked too easy for the hosts as the Bangladeshi bowlers failed to create any sort of pressure. Again, Mushqur Rahim’s lackluster effort behind the stumps and mediocre captaincy proved costly for Bangladesh. The visitors need to post a big total in the first innings to stay alive in the game.
