5 Number Tests hundreds for Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim, third-most for Bangladesh in Tests after Tamim Iqbal (8) and Mohammad Ashraful (6). This was his second against India, most by a Bangladesh batsman against India. Also, he has now all five Test hundreds in five different countries; Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and West Indies.
388 Total posted by Bangladesh in their first inning, second-best total in Tests against India. They have played second-most overs in an innings against India too – 127.5 overs.
250 Wickets completed by Ravichandran Ashwin in Tests for India, quickest in Test history. He took only 45 matches to complete this feat. Australia’s Denis Lillee was record holder who took 48 matches while South African Dale Steyn had in 49 matches. For India, Anil Kumble in 55 matches had previous best.
