Deep’s corner – Good day for Sri Lanka

The Galle track had a bit of seam movement and bounce in the earlier part of the day. The Bangladeshi pacers, except Taskin Ahmed, got the ball to move and bounce a bit to keep the Sri Lankan top order under pressure. But it was one of those tracks which transform into a very good batting track as the day progresses. The Sri Lankan batsmen kept quiet for a while, and got settled in the last session accelerated to a great extent and ended day 1 in a commendable fashion. Bangladesh tried to keep things tight, too much rather than searching for wickets and such a ploy did not help at all.

Deep Dasgupta gives his opinion about the actions from day 1 in Galle at Cricketsoccer.
