Deep’s corner – Bangladesh batting was disappointing

On a flat deck, the Bangladesh batsmen played were found wanting. The Sri Lankan bowlers were not threatening, but the Bangladeshi batters surrendered due to lack of resolve and lackluster attitude. It was Mushfiqur Rahim and Mehedi Hasan Miraz’s hundred-run partnership which gave Bangladesh’s innings respectability.
