Time for another Clasico, and it could be a title-decider for La Liga. Here’s the Cricket Soccer team with their predictions for the big game

Brazil Stats

It is no coincidence that Real Madrid are the champions of Europe and on top of La Liga. For them, any other result than a home defeat, would be convenient in their quest to win the league, as they are already three points clear with a game in hand.

All the pressure will be on Barcelona to save their season, after their Champions League upset. Without Neymar the mission will be harder, but the motivation to reconcile the fans will be high. Despite that, I am going for a narrow Madrid win.

Prediction – Real Madrid win

David Kraakman

With Barcelona out of the Champions League, the La Liga title is now priority number one for the Blaugranas. Real Madrid – who did progress to the Champions League semi-finals – have a three point advantage on their arch rivals and even have a game in hand as well. Therefore, for Barca the game on Sunday vs. Real Madrid is a must-win. I am expecting a tight game, just like in the Camp Nou earlier this season, but I think Luis Enrique’s side will just have the edge.

Prediction – Barcelona win

Vieri Capretta

Everything is ready at the Santiago Bernabeu for one of the biggest clashes in football, but this Clasico could be less balanced than on other occasions. Barcelona are behind Real Madrid in the title race and have just crashed out of the Champions League, this game becoming their last chance to leave a mark on this season.

The pressure is all on the Blaugrana, as even winning would leave them behind Madrid, as Los Blancos can be happy with a draw. Seeing the latest displays, and being at home, Real Madrid are favourites and will end up winning by a goal or two.

Prediction – Real Madrid win

Peter Coates

Both sides have shown some frailties heading into what is likely this title deciding Clasico but while both sides ground out wins last weekend, it is Barcelona who appear to be struggling more. Defensively a shambles and without the suspended Neymar, everything hinges on Lionel Messi. Real haven’t  lost at the Bernabeu in 21 league matches and a win on Sunday will all but seal the title.

Prediction – Real Madrid 3 Barcelona 1

Paco Polit

A Real Madrid win should be expected for a number of reasons: the Santiago Bernabeu epic mysticism, Madrid’s winning habit under Zidane’s command even when they play awfully, and Barça’s lack of reliability this season.

They bounced back after the Paris debacle, yeah, but depending on what happens this Wednesday against Juventus, Real delivering the final blow is a very possible outcome on this weekend’s showdown.

Prediction – Real Madrid 3-1 Barcelona
