A little something to help the passing of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona go a little easier…his top five goals for the Anfield giants

5. Coutinho vs. Manchester City – 2014

In a top-of-the-table clash, with the score 2-2, Philippe Coutinho came up with perhaps the biggest goal of his Liverpool career. Many thought that this superb goal won the Reds the title but we all know what happened afterwards.

4. Coutinho vs. Manchester United – 2016

The little magician, as Coutinho was nicknamed at Anfield, produced a piece of magic when Liverpool visited Manchester United in the Europa League knockout rounds back in 2016. He embarrassed world-class goalie David De Gea to score a special goal and lead Liverpool into the next round.

3. Coutinho vs. Arsenal – 2016

On the opening day of the 2016/17 Premier League season, Coutinho immediately showed his tremendous quality with a free-kick the great Juninho would have been proud of. It helped Liverpool to a sensational victory away to Arsenal.

2. Coutinho vs. Everton – 2017

Combine quick, uncontainable feet with a clean strike and you get goals like this one against Everton. Coutinho always turned up for big games during his time at Liverpool and last season at home against Everton was no exception to that rule as he stunned the crowd with this outrageous goal.

1. Coutinho vs. Southampton – 2015

Coutinho scored a lot of long-range goals for Liverpool but the best of them all has to be this strike against Southampton. No words can describe the beauty of this goal.
