India included five pacers in their side but surprisingly, they won the toss and elected to bat first on a greenish track. As usual, the Indian top-order struggled but Pujara kept fighting in an ultra-defensive mode, which also did not last long as India were bundled out cheaply in their first innings. The South African lacked the incisiveness of the previous two Tests but still were able to gun down India by virtue of India’s poor shot selection.
