Cardiff: Monty Panesar holds his end up

🕓 Reading time: 1 minute

Before he pissed the authorities off, Monty Panesar did have some memorable moments, mostly with the ball.
At Cardiff, however, he enjoyed his great day with the bat. In 2009, against Australia, he paired up with James Anderson, another southpaw rabbit, to play out the last 37 minutes. The duo saved England with just the last wicket intact.

Panesar did not have to go that day. Even the bouncers were judiciously left alone.
