India went to England on an official Test match tour for the first time in 1932. It was a historic event and a group of talented men called the All India Team met Douglas Jardine’s strong English side. Jardine’s men crushed them, but the men from the subcontinent did not return home empty-handed. They made the world sit up and take notice, and earned a lot of accolades.
