Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival and the growth of Juventus has made Serie A a first-choice destination for top stars – here’s a winter window transfer rumors top 5

1 – Aaron Ramsey to Juventus

The Italian giants have set their eyes on a very tasty free transfer. The Wales International is reportedly on the verge of signing for the Bianconeri, abandoning Arsenal after a decade in North London that brought three FA Cups and a number of great goals.

Goals from midfielders are exactly what Juventus need in their current squad, hence the chase for Ramsey. It should all become official in summer. The Welshman leaving the Premier League for Juventus is yet another testament of how much the Bianconeri have grown on an international level, and how attractive they are now having signed Cristiano Ronaldo.

2 – Diego Godin to Inter

The Atletico Madrid and Uruguay legend is on his way to Serie A. Inter want to complete a backline that already includes the likes of Stefan de Vrij and Milan Skrikinar with an experienced and charismatic player. Who better than Godin, whose contract expires in June? The Nerazzurri have offered him three more years for a total of about 5 million euros a season including bonuses. It’s a sum that has convinced the defender, who could lift the European stature of Inter another notch.

3 – Alvaro Morata to AC Milan

The Rossoneri want goals, Morata wouldn’t mind leaving Chelsea, Gonzalo Higuain would love to join his mentor Maurizio Sarri once again. The perfect ingredients for a recipe that – if well executed – could produce the perfect transfer window saga and a saucy combination.

A lot of different pieces are needed to fit in the puzzle, but it is obvious that both Morata and Higuain aren’t happy at their current clubs, and that that those teams wouldn’t mind a change. Whether or not it is actually doable remains uncertain, but in the world of football transfers, anything is possible.

4 – Malcom to Lazio

The Brazilian winger was already a Roma player in the summer when Barcelona made the final offer to snatch him away from the Giallorossi and convince Bordeaux to send him to Catalunya. But Malcom’s future could still be in the Italian capital.

Lazio are looking for pace and talent to spice up the attack and the Barcelona man is at the top of their wish-list. The business can only be done on loan, with the Biancocelesti looking for someone who can immediately boost the attack at a relatively low cost and then think about future investments in the summer.

5 – Yannick Carrasco to AC Milan

The Rossoneri need quality in their pursuit for a top-four finish in Serie A, and have decided to go for players under the age of 25. The Belgian international has slightly gone under the radar disappearing from top level football after leaving Atletico Madrid for the Chinese money of Dalian Yifang.

The winger would have to accept a pay cut, but for someone who scored in a Champions League final to be in China at such a young age seems like a waste of talent. Milan know this, and are trying to get him to pick the Rossoneri and help them to get back to top level European football.
